Once again we had lunch in the Cafe Bordeaux, but no afternoon tea as it was the P&O 'chockaholics' event instead and we actually couldn't face it!
The sea lanes were getting busier as we approached the Straits of Dover -
We said our goodbyes to our regular waiter in Anderson's and had a last look round before it's refurbished in the late autumn.
We also said our goodbyes to our lovely waiting staff in the dining room, including Sharon the wine waiter who has been such bubbly fun. It as also our last evening with our lovely dining neighbours who made it seem like we had a table of 6+2 rather than two separate tables.
We got an hour back overnight as the clocks changed back to UK time and we had just about one of the most leisurely departures we have ever had on a cruise. We were due to leave at 9.30am and we finally walked off, found our bags and the car and drove off - this time westwards - from the pier towards the M3. Just over 4 hours later we were back at home.
